The Parallel Emerging Architectures Research Lab (PEARL) explores software, hardware and tools for high-end computing systems, using a holistic and vertical approach spanning all layers of the hardware/software stack. PEARL currently conducts basic and applied research on chip multiprocessors, computational accelerators, programming models for ubiquitous parallelism, operating systems/hypervisors, memory hierarchies for scalable systems and embedded chip multiprocessors.
